I've been wondering the same thing because I'm considering switching to Mononessa. I've been on Ortho tri cyclen. It was a few years in high school and if I remember correctly I did well on it. But that was years before this IC stuff started. I've been on Seasonale for the last 5 years. I'm going to my gyn next month and was hoping to find an answer to the higher or lower estrogen question. -
Birth Control Pills Switch
I have been on yaz for years which I loved.. it never bothered my IC. But I had horrible headaches on it so I stopped taking them and the headahces went away. I have endo so my Ob/gyn has now put me on Mononessa which is a generic for Ortho Cyclen. I am terrified to take it .. It is higher in estrogen than yaz. Does our IC do better with low or higher estrogen? And has anyone taken Mononessa or Ortho Cyclen? Thanks
