If you have a position where you sit at a desk most of the day, be sure to have a comfortable chair that has adequate back support --- an IC cusion might be a huge help as well. If you are on your feet, it's worse, but it can help if you maintain good posture and wear supportive shoes.
Are you taking and medication to help with discomfort?

I sat at a desk so I would use my heating pad on my lap with my jacket over it. Saved me from looking like the woman with the constant period cramps! LOL For a while when I was still working I used a tens unit and that seemed to help me some. If you sit all day try and get up and move some too.

I do sit at a computer most of the day. I make a point of getting up as much as possible. Plus there are the constant trips to the restroom. I'm not taking anything for the discomfort yet. NSAIDs don't do anything for me. I see a new doctor on Wednesday and hopefully she will be open to some sort of pain relief.
Thanks for the hugs too.~Star B.
