I have a private well, and although I have a water system, my water does have sulfur in it. Could sulfur be an irritant?

I'm no expert or doctor, but I know some people are affected by sulfur in medications, so it may be an irritant to you. So, I'd go stock up on some spring water from your local grocer.Your Friend,
