I think I'm in a flare

and the reason I say this is the pain has radiated to my inner thigh area and my legs feel really weak, are these symptoms anyone has experienced with a flare? Any help would be appreciated. I do have an appointment with my uro tomorrow and I'll speak with him about these symtoms.

When my bladder pain was at its worst in the beginning I would have similar symptoms due to the pelvic floor muscles going in to spasms that seemed to radiate down my inner thigh. I don't recall my legs feeling weak, but I did feel it in the inner thigh area.

Thanks for responding, it helps knowing someone else feels pain in their inner thigh area. Hopefully it's just the pain making my leg feel weak.

I wanted to update you guys. My uro appt went well today, he didn't find any ulcers but he did say there was some "minor" cracks. Since I was in a flare he gave me a rescue instill and boy did it help. He also started me on Rapaflo and I will be starting PT (PFD) as soon as they call. Thanks for everyones support.

What is Rapaflo used for? I don't think I've seen this med mentioned before.

Earth lady, I've never heard of it before either, my uro said it's an old drug, when I looked it up its used for prostate but also works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder neck, which cuts down on frequent urination. I was in a flare when I seen him today and received a rescue instill as well. My next step is PT for my PFD. I'm willing to try anthing at this point.

Let us know how it works. I was in pt for pelvic floor spasms for about 2 months and it did help a lot. I have home exercises I do now. I know the feeling of getting to the point where you'll try anything. I was really in a panic over the whole thing when it started, and very much a nervous wreck.

I will, I have too take it the same time every day and with food so I'm going to start it tomorrow.

Earth lady I wanted to let you know that I started the Rapaflo Saturday, I did find out he's using it for pain in my urethra (neck of the bladder)? I have had no buring pain today so I hope this med or the combination of meds continue to help me.

I see where this med increases the flow rate and volume and relaxes the bladder muscles.
One of my drs. had mentioned a similar med for me to cut down on the night time frequency but my other dr. said my blood pressure was already low and she was afraid it would lower my BP too much. Let me know how it goes after using it for a while and if you have any side effects. My day time symptoms have pretty much subsided, but I still have some night time frequency that I would love to get rid of.

I was worried about the BP as well, I have high Blood pressure and take two meds that keep it around 110/60. No trouble so far, keeping my fingers crossed. I didn't get up any last night to use the rest room.
