  • Just had Interstim removed

So on Monday I had my Interstim device removed because it really just didn't work.
I have been taking all my meds as usual. This morning when I woke up I had a burning while urinating. Could this be from the surgery?
If it persists on Monday I will have my urine tested for a UTI! Has anyone ever had this reaction to going under for a surgery???????????

It does sound like infection is a possibility. If the burning continues please don't wait until Monday to be checked --- an infection can worsen significantly in two days --- at the very least, I suggest using a home test kit to check for infection.

Is there an urgent care clinic in your area?
