  • Flare and Bladder Spasms

I haven't been on in a while because I've been struggling a bit lately with several flares. I am currently in a flare with severe bladder spasms. I have Uribel prescribed for me since spasms are an ongoing issue, but I have found that the first couple of doses actually make things worse (Uribel typically makes the urine more acidic at first) and I'm not sure what else might work to tackle these spasms. Any ideas?

You could ask your doctor about Oxybutynin, generic for Ditropan. I take it for urethral spasms but it will work in the bladder too.

I took that for a bit with no luck. I'm currently in myrbetriq, which does help, but when I'm flaring, even that won't touch it.
