Has anyone else had a flare from IV contrast? I had an MRI with contrast Friday and almost immediately I had horrible urgency. I only had 8 mins to go after they put the dye in and I couldn't stand it and they said if they let me out I'd have to start over completely. Couldn't have been that good of a test since I started crying (MRI was of my ear). I am still having worse frequency now (Wednesday). I had a CT with contrast before and it didn't seem to bother me other than initially - it must have been a different dye because the one with the CT made me warm all over and feel like I was peeing, but I wasn't (the tech told me it would do that.) I'm just wondering if I still could be flaring from the dye Friday.

    Re: Contrast dye

It's possible. I hate the feeling that I'm urinating when I'm actually not --- but for me the feeling usually goes away fairly quickly. Were they able to get the information they needed from the test?

    warm hugs,
    Stay safe

I guess it was good enough at least. The report didn't say anything about it and neither did my doctor today. But they didn't find any reason for my symptoms either.
