I found this website through an IC group on facebook.com -

click on The Spoon Theory on the lefthand side and read this woman's amazing analogy of what it's like to cope on a day to day basis w/lupus - I think this applies to many many people who struggle daily with 'invisible illnesses'...

pass it along to your friends & families, my mom has MS & she loved this story, it really helps to explain things to people who may not 'get it'

Wow, thanks for sharing that. I've already printed it out, and also emailed it to a close friend in another state, who also has a chronic illness.

I have been a member there for a while. It is a great place, but I dont go there very much since when I am online, I am usually here. But, it is a great community of people. I loved the spoon story too! I think it is a great way to explain to people who dont understand. Thanks for posting about it!
