  • Get motivated by reading current info. on IC

    Hi there!

Everytime I think I've hit a wall with IC, and that there is nothing left to learn, read..etc...something else comes my way.

I recently read "The Yeast Connection and the Woman", "The Yeast Connection handbook", and I'm about to get started on 2 books on acupressure.

All the books gave me different ways to look at the causes and treatment of IC symptoms. They also gave me ideas for alternative treatment options, and suggestions/thougthts to discuss with our medical care professionals.

Anyone have any books to recommend? I think keeping current on IC info. is a great way to stay motivated and hopeful.

    Thank you!

I recommend Dr. Robert Moldwin's, "The Interstitial Cystitis Survival Guide." It's well written and is easy to understand.

Also Bev Laumann's, "A Taste of the Good Life" is an excellent resource on diet --- and it has some really great recipes.

There are several other books available through the IC Network. Just scroll to the top of this page and click on "shop"
