  • Long time no speak

    Hi all,

Happy New Year to all of you. It has been a long time since I have written. I was in remission for over 2 years. Recently, I had a severe UTI and am no longer in remission. Its been about 4 months now.

It is a huge change for me. I was working full-time and enjoyig life and all of a sudden I am back to basics. I have currently stopped working and am taking all the right steps and am starting to see an improvement.

I would like to take a moment to thank Veronica for moderating the board all by herself for so long. I haven't had a great couple of years. I had a bad accident and required surgery. Was unable to walk for half a year.

It took me awhile but I'm back where I belong talking to all of you and making myself fell good.

As for my motivation for today all I can say is live in the moment because you never know what lies around the corner.

Hope all of you are well.

    Laura

Hi Laura, oops!! I meant to say that I'm so sorry about your *relapse* and your accident. I'm really happy that you were in remission and am so sad that it you aren't any more. But it sounds like you're taking charge of things and are working to help heal yourself in ways that are really impressive. Best wishes (again!), little bear

Hi Laura, and welcome back, sorry to read about your remission being over, and your accident. Do hope that you will start to feeling a little better, UTIs are no fun at all, or IC, but I agree we have to enjoy every second, and every minute, of the day, no matter what, as we do not know what is around the corner. I know that is my philosophy now, since I have been diagnosed with IC. Glad to have you back in the family, look forward to seeing you post, welcome back hug, Iris. hi grouphug
Today and every day you are loved, so don't be anxious about tomorrow, God will take care of you tomorrow; Live one day at a time.

Welcome back, though I am sorry it's under the circumstance of not feeling well! It sounds like you are taking the right steps to send yourself back into remission though! Good for you!
