  • Questions for new Uro

Well, I got a Uro from list on net don't remember where, think it may been here. Anyway, he was very smart, but don't prescribe pain meds. He wouldn't even prescribe me an nictrol inhaler to try to quit smoking. ***??? Anyway, I am going to a new one later this month. It is a Nurse Practioner working under several Uro's. They brought her in from Tx supposed to be really good and very knowledgeable. I don't want to get off on the wrong foot, but I have dealt with this pain for 7 years, and I can't take it anymore. I dread waking up now days, just awful. But should I ask her right off the bat if she can manage my pain or send me to pain clinic while she "experiments" what will work on me. The pain is awful constant 24/7. I have to find friends and family to give me their meds to get some relief. That is just awful that people in real pain cant get help but others can. I am sooo fustrated with system. I don't want her thinking I am drug seeker put I am pain relief seeker. I can't live the rest of my life like this. I am nothing but just wasteing away. Everyone tells me that. Pain just eats away at ur whole body and soul. I have become desperate for relief. Even tried MJ, but makes my panic attacks bad. and cant properly tend to my kids cuz have to lay down and nap til it goes away.
