My doc. told me that the less I take the better b/c taking to much of anything is just not good for anyone. Given that how long have you taken Urised? She told me to take it for a week straight the first time I went to see her for this flare. I feel like I might benifit from it if I start up again and take it longer but I'm not sure. It didn't seem to do to much for me while I was taking it.

Elavil~50mg at bedtime
Had great results with this for almost 2 years. Currently in a flare since 1/9/07
Trying Urised, lidocane cream, Cystoproteck and now Benadryl at night to try and stop it. -
I have been taking it since 2001. I usually only take it during a flare. I have been taking 1 a night forever because I am under a tremendous amount of stress. if I get to bad I will take more. I can take 4 a day.'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

My script is for 4 a day as well. You take it continuously for more than a week? I was hoping to do that with out any bad side effect.Mom to:

you can
it all depends on how you feel. It is an anti-spasm med. I have spasms daily.

I am not sure of side effects of taking it for a long time (except green stains on every pair of panties I own... laugh not to cry)
I have to take it every day or else.... ouch! Faith is not believing God can; Faith is believing God will! Comment
