Oh yes, I have back pain in the same areas that glass is talking about!
I went to my Primary Care doctor, who sent me for xrays & told me
there was nothing wrong with the discs in my back. When I saw my
Urologist, he told me the back pain was "referred pain" from my bladder.
The bad side to this is that he offered nothing to treat the pain, other
than the Pyridium Plus that I already take.
Actually, the back pain I have now is much worse than any bladder
symptoms I have. I do get some relief from the topical pain patches
that are sold over-the-counter. The one I like best is Tiger Balm, and
it lasts for about 6 to 8 hours.
I'm hoping someone out there can give suggestions for help with this pain.
I have had a complete hysterectomy about 8 years ago, so in my case,
I KNOW the pain I'm having is NOT endometriosis -- you have to have a
uterus for THAT!
