    Pain Management appt this morning!

    Wish me luck that I don't come home in TEARS AGAIN!

    I'm taking my husband with me this time, I hope that helps. I'm pretty sure I'm the only IC patient at the pain clinic, so I feel like I'm fighting for ALL OF US and any IC patient that may come his way in the future.

    Please pray that he helps me!

      Good luck! I will be praying for you. I really hope you get some relief and I am so glad your hubby is going with you. It is a shame docs don't listen to us females but at this point I just want some relief for you.

          Good Luck!!
          I hope everything goes ok..Maybe having hubby there will help.. Thats sad though that most male doctors just dont believe woman can suffer...

          Meds For IC: Lyrica-25mg Glucosamine-500 MSM-500mg, Prosed Ds -When Flaring

          Other Meds: Levlite- Continious Birtcontrol, Micardis-40mg for High Blood Pressure

          Meds I have Tried:
          Topamax,Tofranil, Elmiron, Atarax, Cymbalta, Elavil, Enablex, Detral La, Prydium.
          Lexapro< Bad reaction to this med!
          Intstills, could not continue them due to some kind of reaction after 3rd instill. Tasted the lidocaine in my mouth, tongue and lips went numb then went into what seemed like a panic attack. Shaking, racing heart, tingling face/head, blood pressure shot up..

          Dx With IC in Nov 2006 with Hydro/Cysto
          Hydro/Cysto Caused Bladder to Rupture.

          Other Dxs-Vulvodynia,Fibro, Endo, IBS, HPV, Migraines, Spastic Colon, Mild Dysplasia.

                  Thanks for your support.

                  It went well.

                  Apparently, he told us that he's had about 500 phone calls from upset patients complaining about the lowered narcotic dose.......and said his "experiment didn't work".........uhh......nope! lol

                  He put me back on the MsContin and wants me to titrate up til I get to a point that I don't need my breakthrough. I may start a new thread on this to see if anyone has done this before.
