I haven't been on the boards for months so this may be old news, but has anyone else seen the "T.V. Lawyers" trolling for a quick buck by looking for people who want to sue the makers of Oxycontin?
The commercial says, "Have you ever had any suicidal thoughts while on Oxycontin?" "Has anyone you known commited suicide while taking Oxycontin?" If so call our law offices at.... blah, blah, blah.
It's kind of scary because, for people who need it, Oxycontin is a life saver. It wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't get pulled from the market because of pending lawsuits. I don't know why the lawyers looking to make money on this haven't considered the fact that many people taking Oxycontin are in chronic pain and consequently may be depressed and suicidal as a result of the pain, not the "addiction".
