  • ?? about pain med and frenquency

I have a quick question, well actually a few of them. I was wondering exactly what it was like at a pain clinic and how often do they turn you down. What do the physiatrists ask you. Also right now my biggest problem is muscle spasms. I am on Valium and it is helping a little. Does anyone know of any stronger muscle relaxer. Or of any pain meds that can help with relaxation of the muscle and frequency. My doc dosen't thinks this is Ic related becuase after i void the complete opposite happens. It feels like my bladder is fuller and i have to go more. I was diagnosed with IC 2 years ago. Ever since my last Hydro i have been having these spasms. The best way to describe it is, when you are squeezing those musle to start peeing and stop peeing....your keegle muscles maybe?? Those are the muscels that are spasming. Does anyone know what those muscel are and what maybe could help in realxing them it has been 5 months with no relief. I would appreciate any advice. I believe we know more about IC than our doctors, so i was hoping someone could help.
    Thanks much.

Oh i should maybe list the drugs i am on, or have tried
    Flomax
    Elmiron (about 7 months)
    Pyridium Plus
    Tizanidine
    Ditropan XL
    Neurontin
    Valium
    dilfucan
    Vicoden
    and a few others

I think your Uro. needs a little more information. I also have pain after I pee. A lot of us do. I am not sure how the pain clinic works as my Uro. is still prescribing me the pain meds that I need. (so far) You may be checked for PFD. You may want to go that section on this message board. I take Percacet for the pain. I also have spasms and it helps with those. Good luck!
