  • I'm going to try Butrans

I have been having just an ungodly problem with bladder pain. I take percocet and Valium but they are just not touching it right now. The last appt I had with my PM doc he talked with me about Butrans. It's a patch for moderate to severe pain and it has to be changed every 7 days. I broke down yesterday and took an oxycontin even though they give me really bad gastro problems. So I'm "paying" for that today. The Butrans patch is not supposed to cause as many problems since it's absorbed more slowly. It's new. And from what I've read online it's pretty much like all the other pain meds. Works great for some, does nothing for others. I guess I'll just see. If anyone knows anything about this med or has tried it, I would LOVE to hear your input.

Thanks everybody. I'll let you know how it goes, and I hope your all having as pain free a day as possible!!

    Happy Weekend!!
