Melbourne Support Group Meeting

Just thought I'd post details of the March Meeting.

This is from the letter I just received....

" At our next meeting on Tuesday 6th March we will revisit the basics of interstitial cystitis. This will benefit those new to the support group and allow us to mention any new treatments and techniques available. The meeting will be held from 1pm to 3pm in the seminar room on level 4, Mercy Hospital for Women."

Any new treatments

hi Rosalie,
I was not able to make your meeting on the 6th March.
I was wondering if anything new was mentioned that might be helpful to sufferers.

It was wonderful to meet the delightful Lorena at the meeting last week. great to finally put a face to a name.

The next meeting will be in early June and I will post the information when I receive my notification.
Advice to anyone coming... the parking is dreadful! Hahahahaha

There wasn't much in the way of new information but it was interesting to go over the basics and always good to be with a group of others that understand the IC thing.
Dr Rosamilla will be attending the International Consultation on Interstitial Cystitis in Kyoto at the end of march, and it is hoped that she will be able to address the Support Group in either June or Sept. I will look forward to hearing her speak.
I know it can be difficult to get to the meetings, being on a tuesday but I hope that I can get to meet some more of the Melbournian Aussies next time.
