  • looking for a uro in Vancouver

    Hi!
I live in Kamloops, BC and am not too impressed with my uro lately. I had to ask him to put me on Neurontin. He told me that I am at the road's end for treatment options ( a lot of meds aren't working for me) which did not make me feel too good. I feel that I am doing more research to find options for myself. I'm looking for a good uro in Vancouver just for some more options. If anyone out there has any suggestions, please let me know.
    Thank you!

Hi alana, I would recommend either Dr. Masterson or Dr. Fenster. Both are quite knowledgeable about IC.

    good luck!

I saw Dr. Fenster in Vancouver and he is very good. Who is your URO in Kamloops? I saw Dr. Parghi and he retired. Dr. Stewart is my savior..........Brenda I am so glad that I switched.

          Brenda-
Dr. Treissman is my uro-he is alright. I've been going to him for two years now. I do want to make a switch, since I've been suggesting meds that I could try. His response being "oh I've tried that with one patient before." I just would like to go to another uro for another view on ic.

            Doctor in Vancouver

Dr Fenster is very good he works out of both UBC and Vancouver General. He also did a study on diagnosis of IC.
            God bless, Yvonne
