  • Metro Birmingham area people...

Anyone in the metro Birmingham area (or surrounding areas) interested in meeting up? I have not found or heard of any support groups in this area and my doctor's office staff didn't know of any either when I asked. If anyone is interested in forming a support group or just meeting regularly/semi-regularly...please let me know. We are all in this together!
    Sarah

Dx: IC, fibromyalgia, PFD, chronic pelvic pain, vulvodynia, endo, ovarian cysts, pelvic congestion syndrome, Vitamin B12 deficiency, hypothyroidism

    Hey Sarah,
I wish we live a litte closer. I live in Mathews, AL which is just 15 minutes outside of Montgomery. There is no support group here either. It is frustrating. I lived in B'ham for 2 years when I was younger. I have severe IC, PFD, urethritis, IBS, lower back pain, depression and I also deal with ovarian cysts. I just started 10mg of vaginal valium and it helps with the PFD. My gyno prescribed it. I found out about it on this website. Hope you are doing good.

How About Using a Call Center

I have some friends with friends all around the country. They use a call center with an access code.

Would either of you be interested in calling in as opposed to the face to face meeting?

Sure, that sounds great. I would love to be able to call in since there is no support group where I live. Thanks
