  • Naturopathic doctors in the valley

    Hi everyone!
I've done some research on naturopathic ways of healing IC and I'm very interested in trying it out since I feel Elmiron isn't helping. Any recommendations on naturopathic doctors (preferably female) who specialize in IC?
    Thank you for looking!

    to the IC Network.

What city are you in or near? How long have you been taking elmiron? (It can take six months or longer to become effective) Are you following an IC diet? (link in my signature below).

I also suggest you have a look at the AUA Guidelines at the link in my signature.

    Warm healing thoughts,

I haven't seen this doctor, but did find him on the internet and kept the link for future reference.

        Hello, Amanda

The best and most affordable NDs I have in countered in the valley are Doctor Orlowski and Dr. Deroin. They are both females. They are very aware of I.C. and the surrounding conditions. That said, I'm seeking one myself because of some issues with prescriptions and regulations. You should get a great deal of info and mileage (especially from Dr. Orlowski) if you have been just dealing with Elmiron and the allopathic route. I have taken it as well in many forms to no avail. There is also a nurse outside of the valley that has a very novel way of approaching I.C. She functions well through Skype and mailing pharmacies. I can give you her information via PM. Hope you feel better, Ed

I can highly recommend my N.D. Her name is Dr. Donese Worden and she is very knowledgeable about I.C. Her specialty is also pain management which is very helpful in dealing with pain. She has 2 offices: one in Mesa and one in Old Town Scottsdale. Google her and you will find tons of information about her. If not, PM me and I'll send you her number. Best of luck. Carolyn
