Hi,
Does anyone know of any good doctors in the Boston area (or surrounding) that treat IC? I am not happy with the hospital I currently go to.
THANKS! Mary
Dr. David Staskin - BIDMC
Dr. Paula Bellin - BIDMC
Dr. Paul Church - I forget...sorry.
All are in Boston.

Somewhere there's a reason /Why things go like they do /Somewhere there's a reason /Why some things just fall through /We don't always see them /For what they really are /But I know there's a reason /Just can't see it from this far /Maybe I don't like it, /But I have no choice /I know that somewhere, /Someone hears my voice / I thought I knew it all /I thought I had it made /How could it end this way? /I thought I knew Somewhere there's a reason /Why things don't go my way /Somewhere there's a reason /That I cannot explain /Just like the change of season, /Just may not be my turn /But I know there's a reason, /The lesson's mine to learn

I don't know if Dr. Bellin is still there. As far as I knew she was not in training there but now practicing like any other doctor on that floor. (that was the impression I got anyways)
Last I saw her she was VERY pregnant and I do know she had to commute from Worcester to Boston everyday. (yuck!) I may be calling their office soon, as my local uro is having baby of her own the end of April. I'll try and remeber to ask.

I see Dr. Paul Church at BIDMC. His office is on 319 Longwood Avenue (right behind the East Campus of BIDMC). He has another office at Faulner Hospital a few miles down the road from there as well.
Like, Yvette, Dr. Staskin was the uro surgeon that put my perm. neurostimulator in (aka Interstim). I went to see Dr. Sant about a year ago based on a recommendation from Dr. Church. Dr. Sant basically looked over my IC treatment history etc., and recommended a pain clinic. He was nice and professional, but as I have tried literally almost every available drug, therapy, and treatment he wasn't able to do much else for me.
For me, if I need to have another cysto/hydro Dr. Church would be my choice. His office # is 617-975-2321.
