thanks carolyn. i think this will be a "one time only" thing. we really can't afford it, but in a way we can't afford NOT to do it. i just can't clean the way the house needs it...and with the baby crawling, i don't want crap all over.
rooms...rooms...lets see. 2 br, 1 bath, kitchen, living room. boom, done. our apt. small. hopefully it won't cost too much <fingers crossed>.
You just want a one-time cleanup? I'm not sure the people we use do that. But I'll check, and if they do, I'll PM you their number.
A friend of mine says that if you hire one of the big companies (Like Merrie Maids) and make it sound like they're "auditioning" for you, they will do an excellent job. But afterwards, they slack off noticeably. So if you only want it done once, that might be a good way to go -- just tell them you're thinking about hiring someone on a regular basis and you want to see how they do. The price would depend on the number of rooms, primarily. For an apt., it shouldn't be too bad.
Hi girls,
Sorry this doesn't really have to do w/IC (well it does...I just CANNOT clean well right now, flaring badly ). I'm looking to hire a cleaning service for the day to clean out our godforsaken apartment. It's a mess. Does anyone have any suggestions/ppl they've used? How much it cost?
