  • Good uro in Columbus, OH?

Hi, I just moved to Columbus about 1 1/2 years ago. I've gone through two uros (they say they can't help me anymore -- I don't respond to any treatment). Does anyone know of a good URO in the area who is open to new research, etc., since nothing has worked for me yet? Do you have a doctor who will do the ureaplasma test? None of my many doctors will. Please email me with any info. Thanks!!

    Hi there,
I'm in Columbus and see Dr. James Nelson. He is very compassionate and while not an IC researcher, seems very open to trying different treatments. Dr. Bruce Woodworth is also in Columbus and has been involved in IC research with a Ph.D. in the vet hospital at Ohio State. I haven't seen him myself but have heard good things about him. My vet for my cats has IC and is treated by him. Here's the link to the physician's page here on the ICN: http://www.ic-network.com/md/doctorlistings.html

Also, I'm in the process of arranging a meet and greet for central Ohio IC patients. If you are interested in joining us, email me at [email protected] and I'll add you to my email list.

    Take care and good luck,
    Melanie J.
