Hi all you wonderful people living in or near Wisconsin....Do you want to meet others with IC??? I do!!!!! I am getting closer to thinking there is enough people to give a meeting a try. Hey Kat,

I think it's a great idea. The local newspaper is doing an article on IC, and I gave them my email address so if anyone with IC wants more info they can contact me or those who think the might have it. I'll pass the info along to them. Great idea!

hello everyone from WI! I am from Waukesha. i deperately need a new doc if anyone knows of any somewhat decent uros in the milwaukee area (especially ones that arent afraid to prescribe pain killers on needed occassions) please let me know!!!!!!!!! I have had terrible luck with my past uros and have basically educated myself as much as possible on IC so definitely anyone with resources in the area I would so much appreciate it. Fellow Cheeseheads lets unite.

Hi Allison, Just wanted to say hello to you. I was born and raised in New Berlin!(until I was 13)I lived right off Greenfield Avenue......I wish I could help you with a Doctor. I am thrilled with the ammount of replies from actual Wisconsiners in one day......I am hoping for more. I have about 4 people on the list atm....and a few more that have a question mark....I will be thrilled with more question marks...so even if you are unsure....but might consider it....please let me know!!!!!!!!!!

I believe the list is up to 6 and with that ammount am looking into planning the where and when....let me know if there are some definate no ways not then or please not that far to travel I couldn't do that kind of thoughts. Katrina--that would be wonderful to meet others with IC. This sounds bad, but people without it really dont understand. Well, most anyway. My b/f is the only one who doesnt have a fit when i go to the bathroom 20 times a day!!! But i need others who have this to talk to. Its a common ground thing, ya know? And its not going away!! So, yes, i would be very interested in meeting others in Wisconsin.

I'm not sure if you ever got my e-mail from about 3 days ago, about me wanting to join. Because i never recieved anything back from you. I live like about 30 miles south of Fon Du Lac. I would love to meet with everyone. We could maybe meet on the weekend and go to a nice restraunt that has safe foods and maybe a band. I think a good idea too would to bring someone that is close to us like a husband, boyfriend, or other friends, so they can see from other perspectives that there are ppl out there like you and it's not just things we are making up so we can be lazy. Just an idea. I also know there is a IC support group that meets in Neenah 4 times a year with a few members that i know would be very happy to get involved. I could contact them or give you their contact information. Just let me know Please post on here or e-mail me with update [email protected]

Right now I am sometimes at the laptop and need to be able to look at the PC to be sure and today I am just too tired. My man is coming with mne forsure....can't travel without him because I cannot drive. I will be making a map soon...that is something I need to do at the PC or at least when awake. I will email the map to all of u on my list but I can't guarantee u will be able to open it. Weekends only ok, good to know....If I look at restraunts is there an ammount of money that is too much for anyone....there might be for me. I am happy no one has said there is a distance somone can't travel. (there was a year I would have said one)

ok...working on where....one place I am considering in StevensPoint. I have a little familiarity with the area so it works ok to me.

One big request I have to everyone is to spread the word and try to get members.....ask your doctor if you can leave some info of a support group. If you want feel free to put [email protected] as a contact email on a flyer if you choose to make any. Let me know if you have any ideas. I am thinking we would meat in Spring or Summer...let me know when you cant.
