Hello, my name is Kaye. Im new to the area where im living and have gone through a nightmare just to find doctors to treat me.. I had pretty good doctors from where i moved from, but thats thousands of miles away. Im trying to meet someone in the Illinois area that knows of doctors etc.. I did meet with the doctor listed on the IC's listing of urologists-and his only answer, was that i was the worst case hed seen and that there was nothing he could do for me. That i had procedures and medications in past-that hed never even heard of.. He recommended me seeing Dr Parsons in California-like thats just easy to do. I did call and speak with Dr Parsons office-and they said they werent doing any newer treatments or medications that i hadnt already tried. I am now being seen at pain center-in Springfield, they are wanting to do either the neurostimulator implant or the pump implant, they basically said ive gone as far as I can. And this is my last choice-they did discuss this with me the months prior to moving here. Due to the fact they were at the end of there ropes to. If anyone knows anything that might help would you post or please email.. Lost in Illinois... <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[banghead]" />

I have been to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota (they have satelites in Naples, Florida and Scottsdale, Arizona), my mom and I flew there and stayed for testing for about a week. I was not impressed by any means--- I had every simptom of IC short of my bladder jumping out and doing a jig, and they did not diagnose it. I was later diagnosed by a doctor in my area.

Hi! I would try the pump but the interstim made by Medtronic is not used for pain but there is other devices out there that is used for pain. I'm going to try the Botox treatment next month with a doctor hear in Miami and I hope it will help me. I hope you find a doctor out there will soon. DeborahComment
