  • Anyone in MO?

I just moved here 2 weeks ago from Idaho. I was just wondering if there is anyone in the Springfield area? My husband is being shipped to Iraq next week so my children and I are staying with family. Although I have them here, I still feel so alone sometimes.

If anyone is around here, I would LOVE to set up a meeting! Please let me know.

Hi! I'm not in your area, but I think it's a good Idea to keep posting to see if someone is.

I hope all is well with you and your family!

Hi! I live in the st. Louis area, which is a bit far from Springfield. I would love to find other IC patients in St. louis. I guess we have to just keep posting until we find someone. Best wishes, Shawn.

Its great that there are some that do live near here! I would love to talk more and see if we can schedule some kind of get together for all of us. It can't be a while for me though. I just had a full hysterectomy to get rid of my cancer and I am not going to be fully healed for a few more weeks. Please let me know if you guys would like to see about something like that!

            Good luck to everyone!!!

I would like that.. I have several people I talk with that I have met on here .. We once had our own little support group from this area. We would email each other .. It was great. but it fell apart .. some moved away. and I lost touch with some of them.. I hope you are feeling better. I just had my gallbladder out.. last week.

I had a hysterectomy a year and half ago.. very painful healing .. I know what you are going through.. I will keep you in my prayers. Seems like we are both laid up for awhile.. The gall bladder surgery wasn't as bad but it was painful with all the stones I had and attacks I was so ready to get it out. I didn't even realize It was that bad until I seen picture of all the stones. had over a hundred stone too many to count. Do you have any children? I have one that is 15 and two step daughters one and two years old.. starting over. But I love them like they were my own children. take care and hope you get to feeling better.. I hope to hear from you soon. mailto:[email protected][email protected]</a>

I would sure love to get to know some people around here. I am very homesick too. I have my aunt and uncle here, but my husband is in Iraq and all of my other family is in Idaho or Washington. All too far away for me.

I do have kids. I have a little boy that is 10 months old and a little girl that is 2 1/2. They are getting older way too fast for me. I will be 24 in a little over a week, and I feel like I am much older than that. The healing from the hysterectomy is going well. I found out that the endometriosis was cancerous but they are hoping they got it all out. I will find out in a couple of months. I sure need friends around here. I am always so lonely.

I will keep you all in my prayers. I hope you heal from the gallbladder surgery soon!
