I also see Janet Lang! She is great, but I don't have a Uro - I see Dr. Dalton for my gyno and he is who diagnosed me. I have had a great 3 years with little difficulty until Feb. I thought I would lose that extra 20 lbs and really had not done my research on exercise and IC. Big no no... was lifting a little weights and doing the elyptical plus walking 2 miles a day. I really thought I was making myself healthy...until one day on the elyptical I felt a pain in my urethra and that was the beginning of a terrible pain cycle that I can't seem to get over. That is what has prompted me to finially join the Network and seek out other who understand. I know I will get to feeling better, but it's just hard when friends and family say "aren't you better yet????!!"
I already feel better just knowing that there are other here in this area who do understand. Thanks ladies for responding.

I had heard of her. My thoughts were that if things got worse or if there is something new to treat IC in the coming years I would try to get to Madisonville to see her. Glad to hear even more good recommendations on her. Thanks

I currently see Janet Lang who is an RN at Gateway bladder division. She gets all her directives from one of the top IC Dr. His name escapes me right now. I want to say though he is out west San Fran maybe. I think Janet is wonderful. Luckily I haven't had the need to see her much lately as I try to handle things myself. I'm too fearful to try anything that might make things worse for me. Who do you see? I had a horrific experience with a uro in Eville, dearly hope you don't see him.
    tHANKS FOR POSTING.

I see Dr. Ulrich in Muncie. He's got a great bedside manner. I really like him. We have a new uro in town, too, who seems equally as nice. My hubby saw him for a kidney stone. I don't know his IC experience.

I only went back once after my hydro last year. Ill not mention the guys name because he scared the crap out of me. I didnt get put under nor did I get any meds when he did the hydro. I tried another doc at a different clinic, but no luck with him either. I think Ill try that guy in Dekalb if I ever need to see a doc for IC. I just hope it would be worth the 3 hour drive.
