      Louise,

Sounds like a great meeting, but for reasons you understand I am unable to attend. Keep me posted.

My hubby is going to a concert that evening so I won't be able to be there. I really want to go to another one, though...

        Diagnosed August 2001

Current IC meds: Elmiron (since 2001), Levaquin (one pill after intercourse to prevent UTIs), Effexor (for depression & anxiety)

Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)

I've been virtually symptom free and able to eat & drink whatever I'd like for about 8 years now.

          Hey everyone...

I was just wondering if any of you could tell me about Dr. Zaslau. I just moved to Huntington, WV, and have an appointment with him in two weeks. Any feedback from anybody who knows him, has been or is his patient, would be much appreciated. Thanks so much...

Thank you so much everyone for your feedback. It is a great relief, as I am driving four hours to see him. I thought I had heard great things about him, but wanted to ask directly. I do have one more question: Does he do pain management? My Uro in Louisiana (we just moved to WV a couple of weeks ago) managed my pain medications. Does Dr. Zaslau do this as well? Again, any feedback would be appreciated. I wish I lived closer to there so that I could attend these support groups. Anyway, thanks again...
