Is there anyone in mississippi with ic . does anyone have spasms that is similar to labor contractions. If soo how do you deal with them. I mean rolling on the floor painful. er doctors hardly know what insticial cystitis is like or even that it exist.

I am from Mississippi, but had to relocate due to katrina..To Louisiana
But I am hoping to move back soon..
As for the spasms you mention..Yes that is how they feel.. When mine start acting up, I have to get my heating pad out...Hugs

Meds For IC: Lyrica-25mg Glucosamine-500 MSM-500mg, Prosed Ds -When Flaring
Other Meds: Levlite- Continious Birtcontrol, Micardis-40mg for High Blood Pressure
Meds I have Tried:
Topamax,Tofranil, Elmiron, Atarax, Cymbalta, Elavil, Enablex, Detral La, Prydium.
Lexapro< Bad reaction to this med!
Intstills, could not continue them due to some kind of reaction after 3rd instill. Tasted the lidocaine in my mouth, tongue and lips went numb then went into what seemed like a panic attack. Shaking, racing heart, tingling face/head, blood pressure shot up..
Dx With IC in Nov 2006 with Hydro/Cysto
Hydro/Cysto Caused Bladder to Rupture.
Other Dxs-Vulvodynia,Fibro, Endo, IBS, HPV, Migraines, Spastic Colon, Mild Dysplasia.

Yes I have spasms
I am not from Mississippi, but I do have bladder spasms . I also use heating pad and sometimes a b & O . The doctor done a urodramtic study on me he could not believe the amount of spasms my bladder registered.
They use ditropan and the other medicine like that they all make me dizzy so I could not use them .
