I've been wondering if there are enough of us in Oregon to get together at a central location and have lunch.
I live outside of Eugene --- anyone interested??

Hey, that's great! If you let me know when you plan to be in Salem, we might be able to get together.

Keep me posted when you get together in Salem, just on the off chance that I might be close by. I live in Washington, but we have family in Vancouver, WA, and Salem and try to get down there at least once every two months. I would love to meet and visit with you! Hugs...Angie
Do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around..that's what it's all about..whoooo!

I am in Tillamook oregon and would go anywhere within a 2 hour drive... that includes either portland or salem- they are about the same difference. I hate long drives these days BUT feel like some IC companionship would outweigh the pain
Minerva: I totally enjoy the Tillamook area. We frequently spend time on the coast in our motor home and the state park outside of Till. is a favorite of ours.
And yes, Salem sounds like a good spot to meet.
Hugs,
Donna

Donna - do you go to the ic meetings in Gresham? I havent been able to go but my mom has a couple times... would think that group could get together..arent the meetings like 50 people? If i already know this.. sorry I forgets lots )
My new uro is dr robert barham at providence hosp. 1) if anybody has heard of him please send me private message good or bad. 2) if someone wants to meet for lunch before my appt please pm me also.... my appt is thurs april 4 2.45 pm so probably late lunch.
Hi Minerva,
I haven't posted to the message boards here is a long, long, time. Today I decided to cruise around and see what was up. Well, I live in Portland, and I had Bob Barham as a doctor years ago. It was maybe ten years ago, I didn't know that I had IC then, and I had a huge kidney stone and bad infection and was in the hospital for a week. He happened to be the urologist on call that night, so he was my doctor through all of that. Then 5 years ago, or so, I had full-blown IC and didn't contact him because I really wanted a female doctor who also would have a lot of experience with IC. At that time, his focus was men, I believe. So I never went back to him. But, I really, really liked him. I don't have transportation, so I wouldn't be up for meeting you anywhere for lunch, but I live less than two miles from his office, so if you and any other frequent user of this board would like to come for lunch that day, or even if you just need to rest awhile after this or any other appointment, please let me know!
Till then,
Carolyn
