• urologist in Dallas??

Hi everyone, my name is Lynn and I've been having symptoms of a flare for almost a month now -- my first one. I just found this board over the weekend, and posted my intro on the newly diagnosed board last night (I have been to the dr but have not been formally diagnosed, but since my mom's been managing IC for 40 years, I'm pretty familiar with it).

I need help finding a good, reputable urologist in Dallas. I found these names on the ICN list:
Carrington Mason, DO
Brian Feagins, MD
Elizabeth Vliet, MD (in Bedford)

I'm intrigued with Dr. Vliet, as this IC onset coincided with some obvious premenopausal hormonal downshifts.

Any comments on these docs, or suggestions for others?

TIA,
Lynn

Welcome to our IC Family!

I hope someone will comment for you, it is hard to find good IC doctors without some help from other ICers. You also might want to post your Question in the Newly diagnosed board.

warm hugs,
Christina

Lynn,
Hello! I have delt with IC for years now and I would like to tell you the best doctor I have found in dallas area. I've been going to Dr.R.Carrington Mason D.O. about 3 1/2 years. He will tell you strait forward what is going on and if not he takes time to answer any and all questions, most of the time he is not an any hurry to just get you out of the door like most doctors these days. Though I have had alot to deal with and other things arise, I would and have put my life in his hands. One reason is because he treats you like a person and not just a patiant. The other reason is because he is very caring and is a Christian man with alot of consern about his patiants. He has helped me through so much and I give him a "thank you" every time I see him in or out of the office.

God be with you!
Mindy

Lynn,

All of the physicians listed on the IC Network have been recommended by other IC patients.
