Donna, I have read the posts and realize you have had some real tough times lately. I am sorry about that. Hope you are doing better. I do have a question for you and anyone else who have used urologist from this area. I was given some names from a Dr. and have made an appt. with a urologist later this month. As I have done some further checking on him, his specialty is in another avenue of urology. I was told that he was very nice, and good though. So I am going to give him a chance. Who have you found that is good here in the Fort Worth area? Hope you all have a good day [img]smile.gif[/img]

Dyno, I use a Urologist in Ft. Worth by the name of Dr. Frank Moore; he literally has saved my life. When I began seeing him, I was in horrible pain. He is probably the most compassionate doctor I have met and treated me with the utmost respect. I have been going to him for two years now and I am in remission. I would highly recommend him.

I do not live in Ft. Worth so I am not fimilar with any Dr.s your way.
My Uro is in Dallas at Methodist Medical Center.
He is wonderful so if you want to travel into Dallas I will be happy to give you his name and number. But if you are like me you are in to much pain to travel that far.

For right now I am going to stay in Fort Worth. You are right, if I was in a lot of pain that would be a horrible 30mile trip in that traffic. Since I live close to the "hospital" district here in Fort Worth unless I just can't find someone here I like, it will be best to just stay right here.

Dyno, are you sure Dr. Moore is not on your insurance?? The reason I ask is he is in the largest Uro group in Ft. Worth and since you said you live close to the hospital district, they are located right next to Harris Hospital. One of the other doctor's name is Dr. Hugh Laminsdorf, I think that's how you spell it - his a big wig with the Hospital's Board of Directors. Dr. Moore isn't on my list according to one I had printed out one month ago. There is a Dr. Lamensdorf on there. From his address I am assuming this is the office you are talking about. I have found during the last month of my problems and my husbands that not all Dr.s in the same office are on the same insurance plans. It is so frustrating sometimes and you have to really watch this stuff. The Dr. I am going to see used to be Chief of Urology at Harris, so I am hopeful. I do appreciate all your help.

My appt. is this Friday, unless I have to change it. We have some other things going on with my husband and he will probalby have to have surgery.
