This is a letter I received from Wendy via my email. She said I could share this information. I won't be able to attend but for those of you interested, here it is.
I am happy to announce our first IC support group meeting in Fort Worth is Tuesday, April 13, 2004. I apologize for the late notice. I've been doing everything on my own to make this happen and fighting some really bad flares lately. I feel that I am more organized now and will be able to give a lot more notice from now on. The meeting will be a Harris Methodist Hospital of Fort Worth, in the Educational Dept., Conference room # 4. The address is 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. The only parking available at this time is in the Clay Berry Parking Garage which is located behind the Burger King that is in front of the hospital. When you park in the garage go to the elevators and push P for Plaza, when you exit the elevator turn right and go into the Education Dept. Our Conference room should be the second door on the right. I am very excited to meet everyone and share new information, as well as, learn together. I pray that this mail finds everyone in a manageable state. This weather has been very hard on me, but nothing is going to keep me from being there tomorrow. I know that not everyone will be able to attend and that is OK. I will summarize the meeting as well as I can and send it out within 1 week after the meeting. Thank you for your interest. Also please remember that the parking garage is NOT free. I am not sure of the cost yet but bring $2 just in case. I am currently trying to get us FREE parking stickers. I will let you know more soon.
