  • Who is the best IC doctor in or around Virginia?

We will be moving to Chesapeake, Virginia in June because my husband is in the military. Can anyone recommend a GREAT uro? I am also interested in an IC or Pelvic center that has PT, Uro's Pain management etc.

    Teresa,

I cannot really answer that question but just wanted to say thank you for calling and talking to me the other day. You really made my day and it was so much appreciated.

I pray you find a great uro that has some new things up his sleeve that works for you!! And be good to you with this new move!! I know just how crazy it can be to move!!

    Hugs and blessings

      Thank you, Mary.

You are such a sweet person. You had tried so many things and I hope God helps you to go back to work and do all the things you've dreamed of doing for so long. You deserve so much happiness. I know this is a difficult time for you right now, I will continue to pray for you.

I really enjoyed talking to you too.

Chesapeake is about 1 1/2 hours from Richmond but my Urologist is WONDERFUL!!!!!! His name is Dr. Richard Graham, Urology Specialists of Richmond, you can find him on the 'Net. He goes to bat for you with insurance companies, other doctors, whoever and he is very current on IC and VERY willing to let you experiment with drug cocktails.

He gave me my life back. I'm not cured and not really in remission (still can't drink coffee or tomato juice) but most days, I feel GREAT!!!

I also live in Chesapeake, VA. I go to a great pain management doctor. Dr. Hansen in Portsmouth. My uro is Dr. Rawls who seems to be up on IC. If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

I see Dr. Kwong at Urology of Virginia but I was curious about Dr. Rails.
