  • A GREAT uro in Richmond

I just wanted to tell you guys about my AWESOME urologist, Dr. Lonny Green. He has a great bedside manner and is really willing to work with me with my illness. He is definitely not cheap, but it is worth every penny. He is the only one I have found that specializes in women's urology specifically and I find that that makes a big difference. I also really appreciate the fact that I am in a waiting room with other women instead of 70 year old men. I always felt like my previous urologists had VERY little experience with young women.

There are a whole lot of really bad urologists (as far as IC treatment) in Richmond, believe me, I have been to almost all of the ones in the area. Many of them don't believe that IC is real and will try to blame you for your disease. So I suggest if you are looking for a urologist, you should go straight to the best and not waste your time or money elsewhere.

    Hopefully this will help someone!

I know this is an older thread, but hopefully someone will see it. Wondering if anyone has seen Dr. Guerette at Johnston Willis Hospital? He is a Urogynocologist and I was referred to him by my PCP. I have had the tests and was diagnosed last week with IC and pelvic floor issues.

        Thanks!
