Thank you for the info. I'm currently looking for something for my parents which will help with drug costs. Their $1000 maximum is up...and That only paid for half the price of the prescription each time. Now, in Sept., Mom called all upset about the out of pocket expense.

They don't quite qualify for EPIC, just make a few hundred too much each YEAR... what a bummer!! So now we're looking for a prescription rider for them. Is People's Pharmacy the one from TV that's 7.95 per month? What does it pay for if someone's main insurance pays for half?

Help! Are there other script riders out there for low income people? Where can I find the info?
I'll start my search and let you know how far I get. I'm sure we can help each other here....many at the ICN make more than the poverty guidelines, yet have to choose between food and meds.

#%$@%$ There, I feel better. banghead Doesn't seem right that the 73 year olds and 78 year olds and all seventy-, sixty-, somethings who didn't have any or good insurance plans when raising us kids(fifty and forty-somethings)....now are put on Senior plans which don't cover squat. Excuse me, please, but it infuriates me. Next stop....AARP...must find something to ease my Mom and Dad's mind.

We're ordering prescriptions out of Canada and it's saving us around $4 per day! My husband takes some very expensive meds and we have absolutely no prescription coverage and can't get it. We are both retired.
