    Private Health Insurance

    Hi, I'm new here--sorta. I normally read

    Does anyone recommend any particular private health insurance providers for IC patients? Also, what has been your experience as far as getting insurance companies to cover your expenses? I am in serious need of health care, but I cannot work full time due to the severity of my symptoms... therefore, my employer coverage is mediocre at best! (I'll exhaust the benefits in one visit)

    Private insurance companies don't ordinarily cover pre-existing conditions. The only exceptions would be HMOs.
