  • Anyone scrapbook?

I did my first album last year as a gift for my husband on our first wedding anneversary and now I am so addicted! It is not very expensive and with coordinating papers and kits even someone like me who's artistic talent stops at drawing stick figures can make beautiful works of art with favorite picitres!
Would love to share pages and see yours as well!

In 2005 I went on vacation with my 2 sisters, and I made each of them a scrapbook using photos I had taken and other items I had stashed away without them knowing about them. I gave them the scrapbooks for Christmas, and that's the last time I've done an actual scrapbook. However, it got me interested in rubber stamping, and I'm playing around with making greeting cards. I work 2 blocks from a fantastic craft store, and they have a huge selection of stamps, ink pads, papers, and all of the other paraphernalia. I don't have any artistic ability either - can't even draw a round circle! But I love playing around with colors, and I have some great colored card stock and a bunch of stamp pads. So I'm playing around with that now. I'll go through my "creations" and see if any of them are good enough to post. There is an old card-making thread, and some fabulous cards have been posted there, so I hope I can find something almost as good to show you!

Scrapbooking looks like alot of fun, however I'm not very artistic. I enjoyed looking at the scrapbooking pages that were posted several months back. Perhapsy one day I'll try my hand at this.
My niece, who is 26, goes to scrapbooking parties that are hosted once per month or so by one of her friends grandmothers; there are about 10 of them that go, all in their early to mid 20's..haha...love it!

I just started one for our cruise pics. I got this really neat corner punch that rounds out the corners of the pictures. Gives them a nice finished look, and its really easy.

How fun! I am so glad to hear other people like this too or want to start. I am going to check out the other link after the kids go to bed. Once I figure out how to post pages I'll show some of mine off too!
