    update on looking for work/ IC frustrating

    Hey,

    Well I just got back from the interview. It was actually a GOOD interview (YAY) so many of them have not been, just having a pleasant experience is a success.

    Well I drove there and back today. I was thinking about staying over, but my interview wasn't until 3:30, so I thought I could do it. I had to stop at all 4 rest-stops on the way there AND back. I got there 3 hours early, just so that I could relax, have some lunch and spend quality time getting to know the neighborhood johns!! he he he... anyway when I got to the interview they said "hey youre the candidate from Delaware, do you want to use the restroom??" I was thinking "YEEESSSS!!!!" So off I went again. Glad I did too. The interview lasted until 5:00. Good sign? I hope so.

      Wow, that is a long interview. That def sounds good if they talked to you for that long. Hope you get the job and everything turns out the way you want.

      I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
      1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
      2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
      I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

      I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)
