  • Woo hoo! First Day of Summer Vacation!

Hooray! I just locked up my classroom, turned in the key & don't have to go back to school til end of August!
(This year was a rough one, with a lengthy strike, administrative changes & state takeover.)

Best yet, I made it through this school year without exceeding my 10 days annual sick leave (and 4 out of 9.5 sick days weren't even IC related).
This is the first time I've done that since getting IC four years ago!

I'm really tired & going to take a nap now! (Then I'll move all the boxes of school stuff to the storage closet out on the porch). And then, let the summer vacation begin!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
    Cheers!
    Kadi

:woohoo: It hurt me just to think that you were still in the classroom for 3 weeks after I got out. Enjoy enjoy enjoy!!
This is what I've been doing
sleep in, get up, feed me and the animals, walk the dog, boy that was tiring, better lay down on the couch for a while and read, fall asleep reading, wake up, reach for the remote, watch Law & Order reruns for a couple of hours, walk dog again, don't feel like cooking or cleaning, call friends who have children and always make dinner, invite myself over for dinner, feed animals and walk dog again, ahhhhhhhhhh back to the couch or bed and watch tv or read til I fall asleep.........
Hope you're more productive than I've been
Oh yeah, I occasionally think about getting that summer job, but somehow I just haven't been able to fit filling out the app into my busy schedule
    Happy Summer, Kadi!
