  • Telling your employer during interviews about your IC?

What is your advice on job hunting, and how or when should you tell them about your IC? I have doctors notes ready to go, but sometimes it feels better to tell them during interview [however I know it may make getting a job harder] thoughts? Advice ?

That's a decision you will have to make for yourself. It's not legally required and interviewers, at least in the USA, aren't allowed to ask health questions. You really don't have to decide unless/until you are offered a position --- if you feel comfortable sharing the information, that's when I would do it.

      Good luck!

Don't feel obligated to do so. My company has on the application has a yes or no question of do you have a disability that requires reasonable accommodations. I believe they can't acquire about it until after your hired. I got IC after starting to work for my company. I have gotten them to allow me to stand majority of the workday and they dare don't say anything about bathroom habits. But I have applied for transferring to a different office and had to do the application again and just check yes I have a disability. I haven't had any interviewers ask about it after seeing I checked yes to the question. I won't tell my new office the accommodations I need until after I transfer.

          i would say no
if you need special arrangements talk to them once you get a job.
question would be, what arrangements do you need? I pee more but they don't need to do anything - just tolerate my frequent trips to the loo! i also had to ask for a kettle so i could boil water without it gong through a filter. i have systemic overactive mast cells so i explained it was part of that - but again once i got the job.
