What is your advice on job hunting, and how or when should you tell them about your IC? I have doctors notes ready to go, but sometimes it feels better to tell them during interview [however I know it may make getting a job harder] thoughts? Advice ?

Re: Telling your employer during interviews about your IC?
Don't feel obligated to do so. My company has on the application has a yes or no question of do you have a disability that requires reasonable accommodations. I believe they can't acquire about it until after your hired. I got IC after starting to work for my company. I have gotten them to allow me to stand majority of the workday and they dare don't say anything about bathroom habits. But I have applied for transferring to a different office and had to do the application again and just check yes I have a disability. I haven't had any interviewers ask about it after seeing I checked yes to the question. I won't tell my new office the accommodations I need until after I transfer.Current treatments: Botox, Bladder installations, Elmiron, Amitriptyline, Gabapentin, Hydroxyzine, Sprix.

Re: Telling your employer during interviews about your IC?
i would say no
if you need special arrangements talk to them once you get a job.
question would be, what arrangements do you need? I pee more but they don't need to do anything - just tolerate my frequent trips to the loo! i also had to ask for a kettle so i could boil water without it gong through a filter. i have systemic overactive mast cells so i explained it was part of that - but again once i got the job.
