  • CAREER AND DISABILITY

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WORK MOST OF THE TIME THAT I HAVE HAD IC. I RECENTLY TRIED TO WORK IN EDUCATION BUT I WASN'T ABLE TO HAVE AS MANY RESTROOM BREAKS THAT I NEEDED AND FLAIRED UP YUK! I HAVE ALSO TRIED TO GET SSI AND I GET TURNED DOWN. I GUESS I HAVE TO BE IN A WHEEL CHAIR OR HAVE MY BLADDER REMOVED TO EITHER OBTAIN SSI OR AN EMPLOYER WHO WILL BE A LITTLE UNDERSTANDING

A word about SSI --- nearly everyone gets denied on the first, and sometimes the second, application.

If you are not able to work, I would encourage you to re-apply.

    Sending an encouraging hug,
    Donna
