I need some help with an insurance question

I'm thinking about changing jobs, but I worry about not being covered under my new insurance. I think I remember that there is a new law that if you are covered under your insurance for a condition and you swith to another carrier, as long as there was no break in the coverage (so I would need to do the COBRA thing until my new coverage started) that my pre-existing condition will be covered.

Anyone have any insite on this?
Currently taking Elmiron 3 times a day, Ditropan XL 10 mg, 1 time a day, Elavil 10 mg, 1 time a day.

I also use a vaginal cream once a week and I follow an IC diet and use Prelief.

Group policies nearly always cover pre-existing conditions. Some have a waiting period of several months so I suggest you go for the COBRA until you know for sure that you are covered.

I suggest that you contact your state government about the state policy. Here in Massachusetts, group policies have to cover pre-existing conditions as long as there hasn't been a lapse in coverage.
