Thanks Sandy! I found some maternity pants online that fit below the belly and have a "normal" looking waistband with a button/mock zipper front and lots of stretch in the waistband. I am a little embarassed to buy them, but no one will be able to tell. I may try the Levi's you talked about too. I can't wait for spring again though! Skirts are the best!

I was going to suggest maternity clothing for you. Those pants with the 'vented' stomach's are great for an IC belly. They make some adorable clothes now and you don't have to walk around looking like you're wearing an old sack! I'm in the same boat. I buy Levi Strauss medium rise stretch jeans. They have like 2% Lycra and really do have some give without looking all nerdy. I rarely wear anything but those jeans when I go out. Fashion + comfort = a happy Sandy!

    Can't wear "real" pants

Well, since there isn't an IC fashion board, I thought this would be a good place to rant about this. lol!
Now that it is definately winter here in NY I am having MAJOR fashion/comfort issues. I tried to shop for pants the other day and left the store frustrated and depressed. I was fine all summer with pants and shorts b/c there are so many options for pelvic comfort (cotton, linen, gauchos) and practially lived in my peasant skirts. But the temp is in the single digits here and I can no longer wear jeans or most pants b/c they HURT so much. I tried getting them a size bigger to releive pain in the crotch/groin area, but I had to wear a tight belt and that caused more pelvic pain. Anything with a strechy waist that I can find looks like sweatpants and I am feeling so frumpy. I honestly had cuter, more comfortable clothes when I was pregnant than I do now! I am seriously considering buying maternity jeans just to look and feel like I am wearing "real" pants again! Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?
