Went to the races
Has anyone ever been to the dog tracks?? They're SO much fun! Mike and I went to a boat/camper show yesterday (found my dream boat) and then to the races with some friends. I really didn't think it would be that fun, but it was so exciting. And did you know that grey hounds aren't neccessarily grey? (ok, i'm an idiot, but I really didn't know they were all different colors
) We followed our friends down there (about 1 1/2 hr ride) and I was so relieved that her hubby pees more than I do! She even calls him 'Ol shep, because he pees all the time like an old shepard dog LOL! Don't know why, he drinks a lot so I guess it just goes right through him, but it made me feel so much more comfortable. And he's so cool about it, he's just like, "yeah, I pee a lot, deal with it". Wish I could be that comfortable telling people! Don't know why, but at dinner (at the tracks-it was awesome) I kept having to pee like every 5-10mins. and I haven't had that for a long time. Can't quite place what would have caused it. I didn't let it ruin my night though b/c it was so much fun and Fred was up as much as I was, and it really wasn't a big deal. There were lots of pottys and people were up and down all night placing bets. I hate when I feel like I'm disturbing everyone. Anyways, what I'm getting at, if you ever get the chance to watch the dogs-go, it's so relaxing! Hope you all had a great weekend. (BTW my friend said that she likes the streak in my hair, so I guess I'm getting used to it a little better!)
