Same Dream over and over

    Same Dream over and over

    Can anyone explain why I keep having the same dream over and over?

    I have been dreaming that I cant find my husband, I look all over for him in my dream and I keep trying to call him on the phone but he wont answer.. I wake up in a nervous panick..This has been going on for a while ..Any ideas?

    Meds For IC: Lyrica-25mg Glucosamine-500 MSM-500mg, Prosed Ds -When Flaring

    Other Meds: Levlite- Continious Birtcontrol, Micardis-40mg for High Blood Pressure

    Meds I have Tried:
    Topamax,Tofranil, Elmiron, Atarax, Cymbalta, Elavil, Enablex, Detral La, Prydium.
    Lexapro< Bad reaction to this med!
    Intstills, could not continue them due to some kind of reaction after 3rd instill. Tasted the lidocaine in my mouth, tongue and lips went numb then went into what seemed like a panic attack. Shaking, racing heart, tingling face/head, blood pressure shot up..

    Dx With IC in Nov 2006 with Hydro/Cysto
    Hydro/Cysto Caused Bladder to Rupture.

    Other Dxs-Vulvodynia,Fibro, Endo, IBS, HPV, Migraines, Spastic Colon, Mild Dysplasia.

    Do you feel like you're not communicating well with him in real life? Like you aren't "getting through" to him about something? Sometimes our dreams are really related to what's going on.

    I have dreams lately that I am at work but I have no idea what I'm doing... I think it's the result of me not wanting to be there, not knowing why I bother since the environment is so toxic, and not knowing what I'm doing next...

    *Diagnosed with severe IC in 2004
    *Also diagnosed with PFD, fibromyalgia, chronic myofascial pain, IBS, migraines, allergies/asthma, dermatographism
    *Kept trying a million different treatments for all these things until I found what works, and I am doing okay these days with the help of a cocktail of medications and the InterStim, which was first placed in 2007. [I have had 2 revisions - one in 2010 when my battery died and had to be replaced, and one complete replacement (lead and generator) in 2012 after a fall on my stairs caused my lead to move.]
    *Current meds include Atarax (50mg at night), Lyrica (150mg twice a day), Xanax (0.5mg at night and as needed), Zanaflex (4mg at night), hydrocodone (10/325, every 6 hours as needed), Advair, Nasonex, Singulair (10mg at night), oral contraceptives, home instills containing Elmiron and Marcaine (as often as I need to do them).

      Are you taking any new medication? Some medicine can make you have strange dreams. Is there any new stress in your life?

      I remember when I was younger I kept dreaming every night that someone I loved would die and I finally went to see a priest (I was not even Catholic at that time) to help me deal with it because it was freaking me out. He talked to me and told me that sometimes if we have a stressful situation going on in our lives that it comes out in our dreams. I was dealing with my parents divorce at the time and I had a fear of abandoment which is probably why I was dreaming that about the people I loved.

      It did get better and those dreams finally went away. I hope you get some rest and that dream goes away.

        Jen, Thats thing I am very connected to him..We talk about everything.. He is my best friend and my life..
        Thats why the dream confuses me..

        Octoberfarm, I have been having this dream before I was dg with IC and on any mediction..

          I'm not very good at analyzing dreams but maybe deep down inside your nervous that your husband will leave you?? It's just a question. Someone recently posted about us icer's worring that maybe one day our spouces will leave us for someone healthier. I might be wrong but I just thought about it.

            Ronda, I would just pray about it. It could be just something simply causing you to get anxiety like this. I think Rachel might have a point here. And I think I would find a scripture that tells me God will make a way for me. Sometimes are feeling is very unstable and I think this is do to having IC and the stress of it, but then at times like these, I would stand on God's Word, and let Him see me through.

              Yes I think you are both right.

              I have had so much happen to me in this last year, and it all involves loosing something or someone I care about.. First my home then my dad.. and a couple of years ago the kids dad comitted suicide, so maybe thats it...It makes sense..
              I am going to take your advice trishann, and turn to God on this one, because I know its to big for me to handle alone Thank you for your support.
