Hi girls I have a great idea, that I head of long ago. Pick someone out of the boards and pot something nice about them. Today when I went to the uro my Doctor told me he admired me for what I am doing with Jake..
so lets give it a whirl... Ill go First

I Choose Dancemom, she is kind, loving and easy to get along with. we are very much alike in some ways and completely different in others. I met her here and she became my very best friend. She is a wonderful mommy and wife. she derives this cruise she is going on.

To me, she is my sister. She is Momma Leslie. I know if I need her she will stop what she is doing to talk to me, even if it was 3 in the norning.
    I love ya girl

I can think of something nice to say about everyone on the board but at this moment I would have to pick Amy (Ihurttoo) because when I was sad about my son leaving home she wrote such a comforting and beautiful post that I will treasure forever. She made one of the hardest times in my life a little easier to handle and I will be forever grateful

Galatians 6:2 - Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Hebrews 13:2 - Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

carolintexas - we live not too far from each other - it was great to meet a fellow icer

sandyrn - always helpful when I have a question - she is nicer than the nurses at my doctors offices!!!!

I really can't identify any specific individuals. The forums were made a reality by Jill, who has invested so much of her life to giving life to others. They are made a success by each and every individual who has ever posted here, either seeking help and receiving it --- or by being here to give support.

So I would have to say special recognition needs to be given to each and every registered member here.

                      I agree with Donna...

But I will name a few specifics... Donna and Jill, thank you. When I left the boards for a month or so just before the holidays for personal reasons, your emails to me to check on me and to just chat were appreciated much more than you could ever know.

SharonA -- I have shared more with you than just laughs on the board; meeting you in person was a wonderful thing, and talking to you on the phone is a joy. I don't have a lot of female friends right now, and your companionship (even if it is just phone or electronic) is treasured in my heart. I miss our heart-to-hearts over lunch at cozy places

Yvette -- before my InterStim surgery, you sent me a fabulous PM detailing all sorts of tips for caring for myself during the trial and the permanent surgeries, and they made my life so much easier. I hope you don't mind but I will pass along some of the suggestions you gave me to others undergoing the same procedures.

Tracey83 -- you've also supported me behind the scenes throughout the InterStim thing, and you've also let me cry on your shoulder via email when I needed it. Thank you!!

But, I feel like I'm playing favorites All of you have a great impact on what this forum is today, and you all make me want to come back daily to see how everyone's doing and how your lives are going!!

I don't want to name specific people either b/c I know there are people who have a quiet way about them who may do a lot in PM or by phone or different ways than some. Everyone is important here - particularly the new people.

If your name isn't on here it doesn't mean you are any less important to the rest of us, so don't feel bad. Even if you've only touched one other person's life here - that is A LOT. Especially if you've done it without fanfare - and I know there are lots of you out there!

Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)

I've been virtually symptom free and able to eat & drink whatever I'd like for about 8 years now.
