Begorra! I'll have to dig out something very green to wear tomorrow. Our Lions Club is sponsoring a contestant in a speech contest so we'll probably go listen to the speeches tomorrow evening.

Oh gosh, guess I'd better follow suit and type in green - don't want to get pinched! Hee hee! I once thought it would be fun to speak with an Irish accent, so I actually went and looked up how to enunciate things, and all I managed was one really good sentence, lol!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Now off to find something green to wear....

Happy St Patrick's Day and HAPPY BIRTHDAY CINDY!!! We had about 6 inches of snow here last night so I'll be lucky if I make out of the house today, the boys are outside cleaning off the cars and trying to dig them out right now.
          Christine

I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)

Yes! I am ready for spring too! Six inches of snow and it was 73 two days before it snowed and someone told me it's supposed to be in the 70's next week. I can't deal with this wacky weather! Spring hurry up already! I hate this snow when I can't go anywhere because our street is such a mess
