  • Easter Surprise

Living in Louisiana we have WACKY weather. On Monday and Tuesday it was like 89 degree's kids were out swimming in pool....So cold front starts moving in Thursday and today OMG it was SNOWING:woohoo: . Like blizzard snowing lol...I know for those that actually get blizzard snowstorms are probl rolling on the floor LMAO!!!! But for me it was so cool. Of course it didnt stick and melted as soon as it hit the ground. But I thought it was beautiful anyway.

Although we always seem to get a cold front right before Easter. They were looking back on snow records for April and as of right now the 1950's was the last time they saw snow.

    Ya'll think I weird now.....
God grant me the serinity to withstand the days ahead!!!

We've had temps in the upper 70's and low 80's for the last week as well; and like y'all, temps dropped drastically yesterday. Clouds moved in late afternoon yesterday and we've had snow showers on and off all day today. I could have sworn is was springtime!..

Interesting... we're in NC and it's really cold, but no snow. We have a bright sunny day!

I'm glad you got to see snow though... I love it when it snows. I grew up up north in Massachusetts, and I miss the white stuff

It snowed further into town where I live at, but out in the Country it iced over - got really cold down to the low 30's high 20's. Had the heat on all day long on Saturday - stayed covered up in bed with books and movies for the most part, didn't get out of bed unless I really needed too. Weather was just too weird for Easter. The weatherman said it hasn't been like this since the 1930's, I know I don't remember, all I remember is that last year it was 105 degrees. They have a saying in Austin, (and pretty much all over in Texas) if you don't like the weather, stick around, it will change in a few days. Today its in the 60's - later this week it will be back in the 80's.
